Abstract:

The advancement in the field of science and technology has resulted in many crucial issues faced by Muslims regarding their Shariah status. One of the most controversial issues is to embody someone in front of people through media to show some of the stories in their realistic manner. The issue arises when it comes to embodying some of the Prophets or their companions (Sahabah). No doubt they are noblest and none can gain the same rank as them. There are some movies of such personalities virally popularized on electronic media. These films are not a reflection of religious history and religious figures. As a result, the dignity of credible personalities is damaged. Not only them but also the holy places are desecrated. So, this paper intends to evaluate the arguments given by both opponents of this issue and to trace out the true picture of this major issue. The findings of this work, after evaluating the arguments given in the blocks and it has been discussed that the arguments given in support of this issue are either reliable or not. Rather the ground reality has also been proved that the embodiment of religious personalities especially Prophets and their companions leads to contemptment of such noble & sacred personalities, which can impeach the credibility of someone’s faith. Hence, it must be declared unlawful and not to be rivaled on media.
