Abstract:

This abstract explores the concept of adornment and renovation in human life as depicted in the Holy Qur’an. It highlights human nature’s innate sense of shame and modesty and the Quranic interpretation of clothing as adornment. The abstract further discusses the emergence of various methods of enhancing beauty, including plastic surgery, and the increasing commercialization of these practices. It emphasizes Islam’s moderation in allowing adornment while discouraging excesses. The abstract underscores the importance of balance and ethical considerations in fulfilling human desires for admiration and adornment.
