Abstract
The geographical study of Sirah is an emerging trend in contemporary research in the field of Islamic Studies. Current studies on the geography of Sirah identify the usefulness of Sirah and entail the need of guidance derived from Sirah to resolve the different kinds of problems like Inequality and Injustice in the distribution of physical resources. A distinguished aspect of this trend is that it also explores the Sirah guidance regarding the management of natural resources like water and land. For administrative class, the aforementioned trend in turn provides a valuable outcome by considering the teaching of prophetic management regarding the distribution of physical resources. The trend of this study proves that the study of the geographical aspects of Sirah is not only a valuable addition to the Sirah & Islamic Studies but also it has the potential of huge impact on society. Therefore, this study is more essential than before for sustainable development. This trend needs a scholarly review of the research and methodologies being used in this regard. This paper is a brief review of the literature on this subject.
